Data & Marketing Administrator – Sleeper Media

Starting Salary: £18.5k - 20k pa DoE
Status: Full-Time (Hybrid Office / Remote Working)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Data & Marketing Administrator you will play a key role in growing our reach and  readership, developing databases as well as supporting the team with administrative duties.

Daily tasks include researching companies and individuals in the hotel design, development and F&B sectors; processing and validating data; managing email campaigns; and ensuring efficient delivery and distribution of our market-leading magazines around the world.

As part of a passionate team delivering exceptional content and commercial solutions to our global audience of hospitality industry professionals, you will gain first-hand experience of how business-to-business media works whilst working in a vibrant and fun industry amongst a supportive and collaborative team. 


Day-to-Day Tasks:

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily data research, management, maintenance and entry into our Marketing CRM
  • Management of Mailchimp lists and campaigns
  • Production of postal mailing lists for magazine distribution 
  • Organisation of magazine courier deliveries, mail-outs and back issues
  • Stock-taking and stock control of magazine back issues 
  • Administration of subscription orders, payments and delivery using WooCommerce
  • Creation and delivery of digital marketing campaigns to drive subscriptions
  • Liaising with our print and postage partners to ensure on-time deliveries
  • General marketing and administrative support for our events and magazine teams

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail and understand the importance of  accurate data entry and management. You will be enthusiastic about a career in data and / or marketing. An interest in the hospitality and design industries is also desirable.

You will be willing and able to work in a hybrid fashion with a minimum of two days per week based in our Stockport offices to assist with training and team integration. 

You will also be self motivated to work remotely and productively for the remainder of your working hours.

You will be organised, hardworking and methodical, with a positive and proactive approach to your tasks, ready to adapt to the needs of the business. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, and we encourage new team members to ask questions, suggest ideas and use their initiative.

Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and data software tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace vital. You will be educated to college / degree level. 

Previous experience of email marketing systems such as Mailchimp, marketing CRM / database platforms such as Airtable and / or social media marketing are also desirable.
