2003


Sleeper Media takes ownership of the European Hotel Design Awards

2004


Sleeper relaunched as a global coffee-table publication for ‘Hotel Design Development & Architecture’

2005


The Sleep Event launched at Old Billingsgate Market, London, combining a hotel design awards, conference and exhibition under the same roof

2008


The Sleep Event acquired by UBM, with Sleeper as headline media partner

2012


Sleepover launched in Berlin, with guests hosted at The Michelberger

2015


Asia Hotel Design Awards launched at Parkroyal on Pickering, Singapore

2016


Supper Magazine launched, focusing on ‘Global Hotel F&B’

2017


AHEAD Awards launched (AHEAD Europe and AHEAD Asia replaced the European Hotel Design Awards and Asia Hotel Design Awards respectively, and were joined by new events for the Americas and MEA regions)

Starboard Magazine launched, exploring mobile forms of hospitality such as cruise ships, sleeper trains and aeroplanes

2019


Sleeper Media announces strategic partnership with Tophotelprojects, allowing us to target our audience more precisely, ensuring that we reach a constantly updated list of decision-makers and specifiers at all under-construction hotel projects worldwide

2020


Twentieth anniversary celebrated with launch of #SLEEPER2020 podcast featuring conversations with explorers, artists and thinkers in the world of hospitality experience and design

2021


Sleeper Sessions launched as a series of meetings events for specifiers and suppliers in hospitality design, hosted in intimate and exclusive resort locations, and providing a new way to specify products, source projects and share ideas.

2022


Sleeper Media completes acquisition of Tophotelprojects GmbH, repositioning the brand as THP and beginning the roll-out of new websites, features and functionality.
